In January 2010, Greaterlinx Pty Ltd was formed and is located in Knoxfield, Victoria. With 54-years combined experience in Expert Technical and Engineering in Severe and Heavy Duty rotating electrics, we have an in depth understanding of DC charge start systems and a global understanding of applications as a result of hands-on application work around the world. Greaterlinx has set out to establish a world leading brand of product that combines innovation with safety, providing an exceptionally high quality line of products under the brand of AST (Auto Switch Technologies).

In addition to developing its own designs, Greaterlinx provides engineered solutions to customers on a consulting basis and actively participates within councils and steering committees - relating to DC electrics and alternate fuels for industry vocations such as Bus-On highway –Rail-Mining-Emergency Fire Apparatus and Military in Australia and North America.

Not only do we stay abreast of industry trends, Greaterlinx is establishing new trends with its focus on basic engineered safety solutions. In many instances, this simply means applying engineered solutions to products or into the electrical architectures of existing applications. However, in other instances we begin with a blank page. In doing so we seek suppliers who exemplify quality and integrity. Our solution process does not include cost evaluations, simply a goal of achievement. Our products when utilised by the consumer or equipment operator overwhelmingly result in one statement; they simply work, are exceptionally basic but add an invaluable element of safety and peace of mind when utilised.
